Stay Current with the CABC Alongside Midwifery Unit Standards and Indicators

Taking into consideration the important feedback received from alongside midwifery units (AMU), the CABC AMU Indicators Committee worked diligently to revise the CABC Alongside Midwifery Unit Indicators. The new, shortened version was released April 22, 2024.

The changes to the Indicators include corrections of typographical and formatting issues, deletions to reduce redundancy, additions to address evidence-based practice, and defining Required vs Best Practice Indicators.
